UK Mail Awards
History of the Awards

A new era has dawned for the UK Mail industry - mail is on a new and more confident trajectory to profitability, improved customer service and improved efficiencies. New entrants are coming in and customers are increasingly expectant as they look for improvements, new products and innovation. A new culture is coming to the market.

Following the development of the highly successful World Mail Awards over the previous five years, in 2004 Triangle introduced a similar scheme specifically aimed at the UK market. The objective of the UK Mail Awards is to encourage best practice, reward innovation and recognise improvements across the whole UK mail logistics chain. As competition in the market expands and the services offered by the new entrants increase, the range of categories and number of applicants is also rising.

Each award is judged by a national panel of experts whose deliberations are independent of the organisers and sponsors.  It is the responsibility of each award panel, under the chairmanship of a distinguished industry leader, to ensure that all applications or nominations meet the criteria of the award in question.

Award entries or nominations can be made during the entry period which is usually July to
late August each year.

If you are from one of these organisations based anywhere in the UK you are invited to apply:

Postal operator (large or small, public or private)
Mail equipment supplier
Service supplier (including agencies)
Corporate mail user

Interested parties will be able to nominate themselves, their own organisation or anyone else they feel worthy of the awards.
