How the Awards are marketed:
The World Mail Awards are now in their 11th year and have become the recognised ‘gold standard’ of the global mail industry. We put extensive effort into marketing the Awards to ensure that they are a real barometer of the industry and reflect achievements across the world.
Details of the Awards are sent to those who have applied for an award in the past, have shown interest in making an application in the future or who have been recommended for consideration through appropriate products or services noted during research throughout the year.
In addition information and application details for the Awards are included with details sent to our database who are contacted with details of the annual World Mail & Express Conferences – in Europe, America and Asia Pacific. This consists of a highly targeted and researched mailing list of over 20,000 senior industry figures. associations. We also encourage exhibitors and sponsors at these conferences to promote the World Mail Awards or provide executive databases.
World Mail Awards are also promoted on a regular basis by e-newsletters sent out to our regular database of over 5,000 senior industry figures. This ongoing campaign promotes the Awards, encourages nominations and delivers awareness to our sponsors.
The Awards website is updated throughout the year and is reciprocally linked to the websites of the award category sponsors. Further links to the site are provided by many trade associations, past winners and judges.
The Awards are featured extensively in The Mail & Express Review, official media partner to The World Mail Awards. This thought-leading feature led publication is read by over 10,000 senior industry figures and in May each year, features a pull out section featuring the shortlisted candidates. A full page ad in this edition is included in all World Mail Awards sponsorship packages. In August Mail & Express Review also features a further section highlighting the Awards winners.
Because of the kudos enjoyed by The World Mail Awards we run a press relations campaign to target key industry and business press, sponsors’ and winners’ in-house magazines and trade association newsletters. We have an extensive press list covering the industry worldwide.
