The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Astrid Joosten who is a national celebrity in the Netherlands where she has been voted the most popular, beautiful and best-dressed TV presenter. Belgium has also proclaimed her to be the best foreign TV presenter appearing on its networks. Outside of television Astrid is an experienced interview and discussion leader for commercial organisations and governmental institutions
