As the only dedicated Pan-European reverse logistics company, Cycleon has sustained triple figure growth since 2005. With over two million drop-off locations in 27 countries, it provides a value proposition to postal companies, clients and consumers. InPost
As a Polish independent postal operator, InPost, continues to demonstrate significant growth in number of cities served, customer service points available and correspondence delivered. Between 2005 and 2008, the net profit increased 302% as a result of good management, systematic development and modern IT solutions.

Slovenska Posta
The Consignment Service's revenue has grown significantly from its start up in 2004. By efficiently transporting international catalogues and parcels from Slovakia to Ukraine, a successful business emerged with cooperation and support from mailing houses, two postal operators, governmental agencies and the UPU.

Magyar Posta
Magyar Posta have capitalized on an immature DM market in Hungary by building a unique lifestyle database and launching supplementary professional direct mail services. Sales of the database in 2008 rose 250% and the number of contracted partners tripled. The impressive results benefited everyone in the mailing industry.

Judging criteria

Achieving growth, either in volume or value, is an important business goal. Applicants for this award will have to demonstrate that they have implemented strategies or initiatives that have clearly encourage the greater use of mail and/or parcels, beyond that which would have come organically. The judges will consider postal organisations that have developed products and services that have encouraged existing customers to generate additional activity, or that have encouraged new types of customer. Submissions will also be welcomed from users of postal services who have developed new products that have, as integral to their design, the use of mail or parcels services. The judges will be looking for a track record of achievement over time and will look particularly favourably upon initiatives that have grown the entire market as opposed to just winning share. They will also take due regard to the degree to which the initiative could be adopted by other organisations.
